“Five stars doesn't quite cover it. ”
We spent a week at Baan Samlarn as part of a two-month family trip through Asia, and it was a highlight of the entire journey — but what made it unforgettable was as much the people as the place. We arrived under unusual circumstances: something at our originally booked villa wasn't right, and The Luxe Nomad handled it the way you hope a great company will but rarely see. They didn't deflect or delay — they found us a better property, moved us immediately, and turned a frustrating start into a genuine upgrade. That's not luck; that's a company that takes ownership. It's exactly why they've earned the reputation they have, and they've earned our loyalty. Then there's Baan Samlarn itself, which is spectacular — beachfront, beautifully designed, immaculate, with a pool the kids never wanted to leave and sunsets over the gulf every evening. But the soul of the place is its team. Our villa manager, Fon, is simply extraordinary. She didn't just respond to requests — she anticipated them. We'd return from a day out to find fresh coconut water and little bites waiting, as if she'd read our minds. Every small idea or worry was handled before we'd finished the thought. The chef was world-class: every meal beautifully presented, perfectly timed, and delicious — the whole family loved every plate. The housekeeping team kept everything sparkling without ever being underfoot. To Fon and the entire Baan Samlarn team, and to The Luxe Nomad — thank you. You gave our family a week we'll be talking about for years. We'll be back.

“It was one of the best holidays”
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Baan Samlarn. We came here to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect place for such a special occasion. The villa itself is stunning, with breathtaking beachside views that make every moment feel relaxing and special. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was truly unforgettable. What made the experience even better was the incredible staff. They were warm, attentive, and took care of everything for us — from preparing delicious food to ensuring the drinks and arrangements were always taken care of. Their hospitality made the entire stay effortless and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy the celebration with friends. Overall, it was an amazing experience. The beautiful villa, the peaceful beachfront setting, and the exceptional service made it a memorable trip for all of us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a special celebration with friends and family.

“It is beautiful.”
I brought my family here for a weekend getaway. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is beautiful. Khun Fon and staff provided terrific service and the chef also served up delicious food for each meal. The beach is clean and the water is clear and beautiful, perfect for snorkeling and kayaking. It is not close to the Chaweng beach or city center, but there is no need to leave this place if you are looking for trip to relax with family or close friends.

Recently stayed in Baan Samlarn for 10 days at the beginning of April. It was one of the best holidays I have ever been on, partly due to the amazing villa staff that looked after us. Fon and her team are so professional but also constantly warm and friendly to speak to. They work tirelessly in the background with so many small touches that make the stay perfect. The chef cooked some of the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted and some nights we let him choose the meals and we were never let down. The beach is beautiful and the pool and green area is immaculately maintained. Could not recommend enough.

“A Beautiful Villa with a Fantastic Team”
The villa manager and her team made us feel welcome there from the first second. With their helpful, friendly but unobtrusive nature, all employees have made the stay an unforgettable experience. Particularly noteworthy is the quality of the breakfast, which is freshly and perfectly prepared daily by in-house chef Jommy. The villa and its garden offer enough places to stay and retreat for every taste, especially the pool and the covered seating area overlooking the beach. Small irregularities were immediately resolved by the helpful team. Almost every evening we put together our evening menu from the extensive menu. For this, the table was lovingly redecorated daily. All dishes were freshly prepared at the villa. The taste as well as the quality are excellent. Therefore, a clear recommendation for the villa and the great team!

“What a magnificent two week stay here!”
What a magnificent two week stay here. Beautiful secluded peaceful just as in the photos. We were a family of 7 and looked after brilliantly by Fon and her team. Nothing was too much trouble, and the chef was a magician. If you want to be away from it all with space, luxury and great service this is the place to be. Beautiful sunsets and a beach that was safe and virtually private. Just what the Doctor ordered.

“Beautiful villa with a lovely view of the sea.”
The staff were fabulous, helpful, friendly made us all feel very welcome and the chef cooked the most delicious food. They also helped recommend trips and booked anything we asked. Couldn’t recommend enough remember your mosquito repellent and strong suncream and you’ll have a wonderful stay.
